Interview 2

Things have really been good in our household. The kids are getting bigger, we're in the midst of adopting a baby, and we're enjoying a lovely Christmas season.

How are things:
Soar
From what: climbing
In general: good. I've been climbing. That's it.
What's been your favorite thing about school: my friends
Learning: stuff learned in art class and things we've learned in UT studies. We pretty much don't learn things in other classes.

In UT studies: learned about Navajo Code Talkers and Pioneers.

Favorite teacher: Weidman or Ms Dameron. Weidman because he's super super funny and Dameron because she's nice and normal

"Dad do u know where I really want to go-India"
Why: all the culture, cool clothes and temples. The food and colors.

What r u working on about your life/ thinking about: homework and climbing

Improve/work on: homework and all or climbing-Cali (climbing coach )says I can work on that. I want to work more on my blog

Happiest thing you've done lately or happiest experience: regionals was pretty fun. The birth mom choosing was happy. Bummed that ill be 20 when baby can start climbing.

What are your thoughts about adoption/having baby: pretty cool. Want to do stuff with it now but will be a baby but still pretty cool.

What can I improve on as a Dad: keeping promises.

Have I not been keeping promises: you say you'll do some things with me and then you sometimes forget-----you can also do harder things in climbing.

Anything else: life is going pretty good.

I need to go back and look at my notes on this first interview. I did it several months back and wrote it down.

Recording Interviews

I have always wanted to do more personal interviews with my children. As I try to make these interviews more of a habit, I've also wanted to archive them. I was going to do them by hand, but thought a digital format might be more conducive for pictures, archiving, and printing. I hope this becomes a treasure to all of us as we look back at these interviews.
